Description

For hearts long lost and full of fright,
For those alone in blackest night,
To merge the souls of all is right:
Love conquers all with Violet Light!

As mentioned in the description for Green Light, all 9 colours of the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum are crucial to conscious organisms if they're to live and thrive. The Violet Light is most often associated with love, which is a wonderful and positive thing when it fosters joy and companionship, but it can be dangerous if allowed to fester into obsession. (Important note: Violet Lantern Corps ≠ Star Sapphires.) Violet Lanterns are unique among the Lantern Corps in the Earth-1337 universe in that they don't wear masks; they feel that dissemblance is counter to love, and think it's only fair that their identities are known to all.

The song "I'm a Bitch I'm a Lover" could have been written about Shuultiri, the Violet Lantern for Sector 2814. She's a Tamaranean from the city-state of Kalak'tuur, and like all Tamaraneans, feels both intense love for the things that make her happy and intense anger when they're threatened. She has a half-human son, Raz'oko, who just celebrated his 16th orbit.

This is really nice! I hate to admit that I don't know much about the Lanterns. But, is this your OC or is she an actual part of the Violet Lantern Corps? I find it ironic in either situation because I had plans on putting a character of mine in the Violet Lantern Corps and she resembles this!

Very lovely artwork!
